Six instruments were deployed on the Scott Cay West Transect (J). This deployment was a component of the "Physical Environment" sub-project of the project "Biological and Physical Environment at Scott Reef 2003"

Statement: The position given is for the start of the transect.Poor data was returned from the Odyssey loggers due to a manufacturing fault. These loggers were mainly used near the surface, however an alternative type of sensor was used on deeper sections of moorings so data is still available on the level of stratification that occurred at different locations in and around Scott Reef.
